Job summary NELFT has around 133 buildings over London, Essex and Kent of which some are owned and some leased. This post would be to manage the Trusts Fire Risk Assessments throughout the Trust and liaise with PFI and landlords on ensuring delivery of FRA's and other fire docuements. They would manage a digital software and audit of all fire risk assessments and fire drills. The postholder would report directly to the fire safety manager and assist in duties within the fire safety remit. This could include attending and providing fire warden training, advice on the fire policies and incident reporting. Carrying out fire risk assessments and creating actions. To have regular meetings with the estates team and building managers to ensure the actions are completed and signed off. Main duties of the job Reporting to the Trust Fire Officer the post holder will be the Trust's Fire Safety Risk Assessor and will have a primary responsibility for developing, planning and implementing the Trust's fire risk assessments, assessing and reporting on performance and compliance as well as promoting a safe working environment. The post holder will ensure that the necessary advice and support is available to the Trust to enable it to discharge its statutory responsibilities effectively. The post holder will provide a central advisory and information service on all matters concerning fire safety.
