Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer - London, United Kingdom (On-site)
PPM Engineer - Fire Extinguishers – Pirin Court - Nights
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of assets mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. Autonomous work and safety are paramount, and a full driver’s license is required due to frequent travel between stations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Completing preventative maintenance tasks nightly
* Guiding daily task delivery in line with business expectations
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Maintaining health and safety standards
* Monitoring work compliance
* Using ServiceNow to update and complete reports
Additional responsibilities:
* Providing accurate site reports
* Completing scheduled maintenance
* Ensuring maintenance quality and reporting issues
* Timely administration tasks
* Adhering to QEHS and drug & alcohol policies
Qualifications and skills:
* Knowledge of system maintenance procedures related to the specific contract
* Experience with relevant systems
* Experience in LUL or Rail environment
Candidate profile:
Seeking an engineer familiar with fire maintenance (PPM), ideally with London Underground or Network Rail experience. Must work nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm – 6am. Experience in multi-site maintenance, fire extinguisher environments, and a full UK driving license is required. Drug & alcohol testing is mandatory.
