Special educational needs Tutor
We are working alongside Leicester city council to find experienced and engaging people to register with us for in-person tutoring positions.
We are looking for qualified teachers, experienced tutors or people who aren’t necessarily qualified but have extensive experience working alongside children with SEND and have a real passion for making a positive difference to their lives.
When working with children with special educational needs you need to be patient, understanding and extremely caring towards the students as each student’s story is different.
When assigned to a student you will receive their EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) which will advise of their requirements and needs for you to be able to plan how you will deliver the tuition, you will be required to mark the students work and be comfortable to be able to produce an accurate report on the child’s progress.
This role has negotiable working hours depending on your availability and the availability of the student.
