Engineering Stores Person required in Shropshire**
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and dynamic Engineering Stores Person to join a leading food production business in Shropshire.
Previous experience within the food industry would be preferred but is not essential.
DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE SITE YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT.
The working hours are 8.00am - 17.00pm Monday - Friday, with the occasional opportunity to support the team beyond these hours, and the salary would range up to £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience).
**What You Will Do:**
Implement and coordinate an inventory management system to ensure optimal stock levels and compliance with COSHH.
Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock audits, reporting on stores performance through CMMS.
Manage the engineering materials location via CMMS, ensuring efficient and cost-effective spare parts/inventory solutions.
Take ownership of the Purchase Order Process, including accuracy of purchase request information and supplier delivery performance.
Develop inventory management improvement techniques and ensure the health and safety of self and others.
Schedule daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans, aligning them with material lead times and maintenance activities for improved cost-effectiveness.
**What You Will Bring:**
Proven experience in engineering stores or inventory management, with a strong focus on spare parts and refurbishment management.
Familiarity with CMMS systems and adept at tracking and reporting performance.
A keen eye for detail in managing supplier relationships and optimizing stock holding.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently.
A commitment to health and safety standards and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
