Job Title: Stock Controller Location: Evesham Pay: £12.50 - £13 per hour Shift: Sunday to Thursday Hours: PM Shift (flexible start) Contract: Temporary to Permanent / Permanent (Full training provided) A reputable food production company based in Evesham is seeking a Stock Controller to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis, working the PM shift from Sunday to Thursday. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic team within a growing organisation. Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Operations Manager in daily operational activities, ensuring all KPIs are met to align with customer expectations.
* Collaborate with the team to enhance operational efficiency.
* Verify inbound deliveries of raw materials and packaging, promptly addressing any discrepancies with the customer.
* Check and confirm all inbound finished stock deliveries, ensuring accurate notification of discrepancies.
* Unpack, identify, sort, and re-palletise inbound stock from third-party suppliers, reporting any issues to the customer.
* Accurately book products onto the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
* Conduct regular stock checks and perform timely stock adjustments.
* Investigate discrepancies through reconciliation processes and report findings to the Operations Manager promptly.
* Maintain accurate and timely processing of documentation in accordance with agreed timeframes and standards.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to complete paperwork accurately.
* Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and site personnel.
* A focus on maintaining high standards of quality control.
