Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nursery team. The position will be to lead a room and inspire staff to be the best that they can be.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, possess strong communication and leadership skills, and be committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for early childhood education.
Duties:
1. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's learning and development
2. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
3. Manage the daily care routines of children including feeding, nappy changing, and nap times
4. Drive the continuous improvement of the nursery's educational programs
5. Provide a safe and secure environment for children to learn and play
Skills:
1. Experience working with 0 - 2 age range in a nursery or childcare setting
2. Be able to plan and carry out stimulating activities using the EYFS Curriculum
3. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff
4. Proficient in English language to deliver educational content
5. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
6. Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate colleagues in delivering high-quality care
7. Paediatric First aid certificate
