* This well-equipped practice, dedicated to a fantastic primary care team, is set within a large hospital that also houses a multi-disciplinary referral team.
* They provide 24-hour emergency services and routine primary care for small animals, working separately – albeit closely - with the referral and ECC department.
* This referral practice is committed to supporting the physical and mental health of all its Associates. They have an amazing team of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) across their practices and central support office in addition to a confidential Employee Assistance Program which is available for everyone.
Role: Join a dynamic team in a Veterinary Hospital as a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon with a strong surgical focus! If you are eager to be part of a supportive and collaborative environment within a multi-disciplinary hospital, this role is perfect for you!
Duties:
* This exciting role is primarily based at their main hospital but also includes rotations through their consulting-only branches.
* Beyond your clinical responsibilities, you will find numerous opportunities to explore your passions—whether by participating in the Green Team, mentoring recent graduates, or helping to organize their vibrant social events.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours a week, 4-day week with a 1 in 8 weekends (with 2 days in lieu the following week). Minimal on-call as ECC team on site.
Candidate: They are seeking a motivated Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with a Surgical Certificate (or currently pursuing one), who excels in communication and teamwork to work alongside a team of 13 Vets. Here you’ll thrive among a friendly team that values your input and fosters engaging case discussions, ensuring you grow both personally and professionally.
Skills/Experience:
* Veterinary Degree Registrable in the UK enabling full MRCVS status
* A can-do attitude, determination, and positivity
* Strong team ethos
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Salary: They are offering a very competitive salary of up to £65,000 p/a (DOE)
