Arcus are recruiting a Commercial Manager to take responsibility for the management of the commercial performance of the major account. The Commercial Manager will ensure revenue & profit are on target, and that financial reporting, quotes, billing and client comms are accurate and on time.
The Commercial Manager will be working with the Account Director, Finance BP and OCS team to monitor revenue and profit performance against budget, and support account managers to resolve any commercial issues with quotes, producing reports and trackers. Other responsibilities include;
* Adhere to financial processes - ensure all tasks are completed in line with client and Arcus financial timetables
* Be a key point of contact for the client operational and financial leads for all commercial activities, reporting and queries
* Regular contact and reviews with the client to chase 1st level approvals and resolve billing queries to ensure billing is accurate and as up to date as possible
* Review AOV and ETCW to ensure that all work orders are correctly categorised and reported in the financial WIP
* Complete monthly mitigations to maximise KPI scores in order to reduce risk / scale of service credits
* Prepare data and attend Governance Meetings to report on commercials and help ASW to accrue as accurately as possible - collaborate with Finance BP and MI team. Complete any commercial actions from Governance Meetings
* Work with account managers and finance team to review month end data to ensure adherence to process and accuracy of data, including KPI mitigations / service credits
* Management and tracking of change control process and annual reconciliation
* Ensure regular reviews are carried out on the following highlighting areas of concern and suggesting alternative ways of working: - Integrity of systems, procedures and processes - commercial compliance of systems, procedures and processes and their effectiveness - interaction between business functions when operating to the above
The successful candidate should have be an experienced commercial manager used to dealing with a large, multi-site account with complexities such as AOV process and '000s of work orders per month. Other requirements include;
* Able to analyse and manipulate complex data to track and report on key metrics
* Experience of working in partnership with finance on P&L and budget
* Strong communicator able to build positive relationships with all the clients - can provide accurate data in the format required by each ASW client and can persuade and influence them to get the right outcomes (approvals, decisions)
* Experience at presenting key data at client monthly governance meetings
* Collaborative and able to act as gatekeeper for commercial activity
