Job summary We are looking for an experienced and compassionate maternity support worker, physiotherapy assistant, or other healthcare professional with relevant experience, to join the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team. In this exciting new role you will be a Pelvic Health Assistant Practitioner helping to deliver Perinatal Pelvic Health care as part of a national service roll out. You will work independently to assess, manage and treat women and birthing people antenatally and up to 12 months post birth, to help prevent and treat pelvic health issues. Main duties of the job We are looking for someone with good communication skills who is confident to work across both in- and outpatient settings and is able to provide high quality care face-to-face, or via telephone / video both to individuals and in group settings. You will be working under the indirect supervision of qualified staff, managing your own caseload and contributing to running of the Perinatal Pelvic Health pathway. The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team is essential, in order to provide an effective and efficient service. About us The pelvic health physiotherapy team comprises 4 part-time specialist physiotherapists with support from B2 assistants and the administration team.
