This position requires the following basic skills:

6. Experience in working with and developing SOP's
7. Knowledge and experience in Lean/5S principles a distinct advantage

9. Good Communication (written and oral)
10. Intermediate IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook and MRP)
11. Use of initiative and ability to make decisions
12. IOSH Managing safety an advantage
Main Responsibilities:
1. Planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching, counselling and disciplining employees; initiating, co-ordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures
2. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities
3. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; adherence to deadlines
4. Maintains quality of service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards
5. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
6. Resolving personnel problems by analysing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action
7. Improve professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant training courses and meetings as offered by the Company; using initiative to make recommendations to enhance personal development and skills relevant to the role
8. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

* Reporting to: Production Manager
* Direct Reports: Production Supervisors (all production areas)
* Cover in case of Absence: Production Manager/Production Supervisors
