About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and qualified Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Northumberland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire students in the culinary arts and support their personal and academic growth. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the food curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that bring food technology to life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology to students of varying abilities and ages
* Develop students’ understanding of nutrition, cooking techniques, and food safety
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and development
* Collaborate with other departments and staff to create a cohesive learning experience
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
* Experience teaching Food Technology, preferably in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in practical learning
* Up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum in Food Technology
* A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners in culinary arts
