About the Role: The Recovery Worker will provide key worker support to a specified number of service users, including one-to-one face-to-face support as well as phone, video, and text support. Carrying out needs assessments of clients, choosing to engage within the service, and prioritise needs effectively. This role is responsible for carrying out individual safety and support planning within organisational and legislative requirements. This role is 28 hours per week, working three days between Monday to Friday from 5pm to 11pm, and one day on the weekend from 12pm to 11pm. Working days to vary on a rota basis although hours of work remain the same. There is a requirement for the Recovery Worker to have the skills and knowledge to be able to have good listening and empathy skills, to understand and support individuals with mental health and know how to handle difficult situations and be familiar with common mental health conditions. Working well with others and keeping good records, are also important parts of the job. Overall, need a mix of people skills, knowledge, and practical experience to do the job effectively. Liaising with other external agencies, complementary therapies, and community groups on behalf of people who use their services. Safeguarding Contribute to protecting individuals from the risk of abuse and harm, both to themselves and others using services. Teamwork and Collaboration Work as part of a team, sharing information and providing support to colleagues, including volunteers and trainees. Engage in regular team meetings and discussions to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Record Keeping and Documentation Maintain accurate records as per company policy and procedures utilising appropriate paper and electron systems. Keep up-to-date details of services activities and outcomes in charity logs, always ensuring transparency and accountability. Relationship Building Build rapport with service users based on respect and honesty, offering support and a trustworthy environment for their recovery journey.
