Role Overview
They are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to take on the role of Sub Agent, providing crucial support across technical, quality, scheduling, and contractual aspects of project delivery. This position offers diverse responsibilities, enabling you to develop into a dynamic, well-rounded Sub Agent.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the construction site to ensure smooth and safe operations
Attending pre-start and progress meetings on site to align project objectives
Preparing site plans, risk assessments, and method statements
Overseeing cost control and scheduling to meet project timelines
Ensuring work aligns with safety and environmental standards and meets programme requirements
Reporting on contractual milestones to the client
Qualifications & Skills Required
Minimum HNC qualification in Civil Engineering
Experience in civil engineering within a contracting environment is preferred
Familiarity with NEC contracts is desirable
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work away from home as projects may be based throughout Scotland
