Brief Description
This rewarding role will be supporting Stations, Safety and the Programme directorate team alongside the HR Business Partner. In this role you'll deliver proactive and professional HR support to empower the HR Business Partner team in driving impactful HR solutions, bringing the people strategy to life for the organisations we support. This role will also support the New Street Station, as we know it is a very busy station with about 35.3 million passengers entries and exits. It is vital we get the right candidate in post to support with ad hoc administrative and operational HR activity.
About the role (External)
As a Human Resource Business Partner Support you will be:
1. Providing proactive, professional HR Support to the HR Business Partner team/s and the business to facilitate the delivery of value add HR and the delivery of the people/HR plans.
2. Supporting HR Business Partner teams in Talent Management, Workforce and Succession Planning and performance planning, maintaining appropriate data within the associated process.
3. Providing support for Organisation Change programmes, through the full development and implementation phases.
4. Providing project management support to the HR Business Partner team, tracking, measuring and communicating through the project timeline.
5. Supporting the associated HR Business Partner team/s with research, reporting requirements, analysis and production of reports to support the implementation of HR initiatives.
6. Seeking, identifying and developing solutions to continuously improve the HR support to the business.
7. Maintaining up to date professional HR knowledge to input into the development of both operational and value add HR initiatives.
8. Taking ownership for delivery of assigned work within HR programmes/initiatives.
9. Supporting the associated HR Business Partner team/s with ad hoc administrative and operational HR activity.
In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have/to be:

2. Experience of working within a large, complex and fast moving organisation.
3. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong time management, organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
6. Resilient, Adaptable and Flexible.
7. IT literate, strong excel, word and PowerPoint knowledge.
8. Experience of event coordination and facilitation.
9. Research and analytical skills.
10. Strong relationship building skills.
11. Experience of supporting the delivery of HR initiatives and projects.
It's not mandatory to have the below, but it would be desirable to have:
1. CIPD Qualified or relevant HR Support experience.
