Main Duties of the Job
The role will include:
1. Co-running group treatments
2. Supporting the team with required support as needed and facilitating access to full pathways of care
3. Co-creating risk assessments and Care plans with Service Users
4. Delivering individual, psychologically informed interventions
5. Carrying out relevant risk assessments and risk management with the multi-disciplinary team
6. Supporting service users in highly distressing or emotional circumstances
7. Engaging with and gathering information from service users, relatives and patient records to develop a formulation
8. Working in collaboration with individual service users and their family and carers as appropriate to develop care plans that are focused on strengths and are outcome based
9. Attending multi-disciplinary reviews and acting as a care co-ordinator for a caseload of service users in order to support and monitor progress during the course of multi-disciplinary interventions
10. Setting collaborative goals for intervention with service users

Person Specification
Qualification and Registration
* A graduate certificate (Level 6) or postgraduate certificate (Level 7) delivering the national curriculum for Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Adult Specialist Mental Health) or post graduate certificate achieved via the Graduate Mental Health Practitioner training plus the additional certified MHWP training modules.
* Registered as a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner on a professional register recognised for this role by NHS England.
Knowledge/Experience
* Experience of working with people with mental health needs gained through a graduate certificate or postgraduate certificate training with significant supervised practice.
* Experience running groups/activities.
* Experience working as part of a team.
* Experience of being supervised.
* Experience of analysing and communicating complex information verbally and in writing.
