We are recruiting for a Ward Clerk Supervisor who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within East & North Herts NHS Trust for a Band 4 Ward Clerk Supervisor as part of the Ward Clerk structure within the Inpatient ward areas.
We are looking for applicants with strong management, administrative and organisational skills as well as the ability to work within a team but using own initiative when required. If you can also demonstrate good communication skills both verbal and written and enjoy a challenge on a day-to-day basis, this could be the role for you. Excellent Knowledge of Lorenzo & Nervecentre is essential for this position although full training will be available if required for the right candidate.
This role is predominately Mon-Fri with some flex required for evenings and weekends and a proportion of Bank Holidays.

To supervise a Ward Clerk Team and the Ward Clerk services.
To provide clerical support to clinical staff based on wards/clinical units, including the receipt and resolution, where possible, of enquiries from patients, visitors and staff.
