An exciting opportunity with a family-run distribution business. You will be exposed to multiple different parts of the organisation and have the chance to influence the strategic direction of Health & Safety for the business. The position will be reporting directly into the COO, giving you a good opportunity to influence.
Responsibilities:
1. Driving health & safety cultural change and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Working across all areas of the business - warehousing and transport.
3. Presenting Health & Safety trends and accident data to senior management.
4. Establishing a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the company.
Qualifications:
1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
2. Health & Safety experience in warehousing, supply chain or a closely related sector.
3. Ability to influence effectively at all levels.
4. Go-getter attitude and hunger to have a tangible impact on the organisation.
