Service Charge Accounting Manager Milton Keynes Salary Up to £45,000 DOE Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible hybrid working About the Role Our client is a fast-growing top 20 accountancy firm and are seeking a Service Charge Accounting Manager to join their award-winning team. The role will focus on managing a client portfolio, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and identifying growth opportunities within the portfolio. As a Service Charge Accounting Manager, you will oversee and review service charge accounts, manage audits, and support the wider team to meet the client’s needs. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Identify development opportunities within existing relationships to grow portfolio size Manage finances within the portfolio, including driving monthly billing targets, debt recovery, and forecasting. Provide on-the-job coaching and identify training needs for senior and executive accountants. Support career progression and development, addressing any concerns with senior management. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and share best practices across the team. Promote and assist with the implementation of bespoke software, ForSite, across the team and clients. Stay updated with sector technical developments and share insights with the team. Escalating development issues and progression requirements to senior management team. Creating and developing a "personal brand" that is used to promote the work and appeal of our specialist team on LinkedIn/Socials. Active involvement in LinkedIn and creating a presence, including interacting with client/target/Service Charge team posts, and creating own posts for sharing. About You AAT qualified or part ACCA/ACA qualified. A solid accounting background with experience in reviewing the work of colleagues. Ideally, experience in an accountancy practice. Strong communication skills (both written and oral). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. An organised, methodical approach to managing your workload and the workload of others. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of service charge accounting A willingness to learn and develop your skills.
