What the Job Involves Co-ordinating and chairing Child Protection Conferences and statutory childcare reviews for children in local authority care. Ensuring high standards of practice and enabling participation of children and families in decision-making processes. Promoting a multi-agency approach in Child Protection and Child Care reviews. Dealing with departmental duties including delegating for the Resource Manager in relevant areas. Chairing various meetings including Allegations Meetings, Suitability Meetings, and Sexual Exploitation meetings. Analyzing data related to conference and review material for insights and improvements. Maintaining precise records and complying with administrative protocols. Contributing to and participating in staff training sessions and inter-agency collaboration. Advising management on resource shortfalls and suggesting improvements. Engaging in recruitment processes and evaluating child care systems effectively. Ensuring proper information handling in compliance with data protection acts and regulations.
