This is an exciting opportunity to join our skin cancer team and to support the development of our surgical and faster diagnosis pathways. This is a new pathway recently established and the team are constantly looking at additional ways to improve the patient experience.
There will be the opportunity to receive training in dermatology so that the role can also work with our general dermatology team in supporting their cohort of patients.
STAFF CAR PARKING
Staff Car Parking on the West Suffolk Hospital Site is eligible for individuals working outside of the core hours, 07:00 - 18:30. For individuals working within the core hours, the Trust offers parking off site at the Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, which is serviced by a regular shuttle bus to and from the Hospital. This parking restriction does not apply if an individual is required to work on a weekend or if they are required to complete on call duties within their role.

Assist in ensuring the appropriate statistical information is collated to assist with workload modelling.

4. Clinical Duties:
To work with colleagues to assess, monitor and evaluate treatment efficacy and manage the treatment pathway for patients with a skin condition/skin cancer.

To support the Skin Analytics surgical pathway.
To work with the consultants, the surgical nurse and the waiting list officer to ensure patients on the Skin Analytics pathway receive the necessary information for them to proceed directly to surgery.
To assist with the pre-surgery information/assessment telephone clinic.
To manage a caseload of patients with support from colleagues.
To interpret and act upon clinical, laboratory and radiology data.

* Educated to a degree level or working towards ENB 988 or equivalent
