At the Stockton Sixth Form College site, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who has a passion for teaching Level 2 students. Ideally, you will be able to teach English, alongside at least one other subject from Public Services, Health Criminology, or Psychology. You will be able to motivate, enthuse, and challenge students to produce the highest quality work, and effectively assess, record, and track students.
Successful candidates must have a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject, along with class teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting. You must have demonstrable high levels of skill in leading teaching and learning.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to working with students from a range of different backgrounds, are also essential.
Applications will be welcomed from both NQTs and experienced teachers.
A full-time contract equates to 24 hours of contact time per week. Please note that a full-time contract would only be available if you can teach at least 2 of the subjects detailed above.
Your main place of work will be Stockton Sixth Form College, but work at other sites across the Trust may be required.
