ASSISTANT ESTATE MANAGER - COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANCHESTER £30k-£35k We are recruiting for a progressive and growing property company creating modern commercial spaces and committed to providing the best in customer service for their guests The ideal candidate will be a customer focused manager, with good commercial understanding, organisational skills, and experience managing the health and safety aspects of a building. Being a people person is key for this role, as you will build and maintain strong relationships with commercial tenants and ensure the estate runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Act as the face of the venue, offering exceptional customer service to commercial tenants and landlords, assisting with queries and helping solve any issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, suppliers, and customers. Collaborate with other departments and corporate teams to deliver a cohesive and integrated customer experience. Support the General Manager with all administration tasks to ensure the Estate runs smoothly for tenants. Support with the financial performance of the estate, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Work in coordination with key departments to ensure the Health & Safety, cleaning and maintenance of the estate is to the correct standards Assist the GM in developing business strategies to drive footfall onto the estate and always improving the customer experience. The ideal candidate: Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager / Deputy or General Manager in a fast-paced retail, hospitality or property management role. Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. A good financial acumen with an understanding of budgets, forecasting, and cost management. A good commercial awareness. Experience within building / venue management, understanding health & safety and compliance. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Strong problem-solving, organisational skills and decision-making abilities.
