The Commercial & Governance team of the Council’s Legal Service is looking for experienced, pragmatic lawyers to undertake a high profile, high quality and complex caseload with minimal supervision.
The team has vacancies for three lawyers to specialise in contracts and commercial law. Experience in any of the following, namely public sector contracts, public procurement law, commercial law and/or construction law would be advantageous, but is not essential. (Previous successful candidates have had limited experience in these areas and have developed with support and training provided). We are seeking lawyers with confidence and a commitment to learn and develop.
We are seeking lawyers with confidence in dealing with high profile and/or politically sensitive case work, who enjoy working on a wide variety of matters.
