Responsibilities:
* Manage asbestos contracts from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Conduct site assessments and risk evaluations to determine project requirements.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure all asbestos management practices are compliant.
* Develop and implement health and safety procedures related to asbestos removal and management.
* Prepare and review project documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
* Monitor project progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
* Provide training and support to team members on best practices in asbestos management.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in asbestos management.
* Strong understanding of current legislation and regulations regarding asbestos.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
* Experience in managing teams.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* UKATA Licenced Asbestos Contracts Manager certificate preferred.
* SMSTS preferred.
