We require a Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social worker who can work independently, with the support of the team leaders and the wider crisis team clinicians and can bring their own professional expertise to a fast-paced team, and who are confident in managing risk in the least restrictive way. By its nature, crisis work requires professionals who have a broad range of skills including being skilled mental health assessors with a proven ability to signpost service users towards the most effective treatment pathways. The Crisis Clinician role is an important development in nursing care provision and is pivotal in helping us deliver safe and effective care to our patients. The successful applicants will participate in a duty rota of early, late or long day shifts covering 7 days a week and we are committed to supporting staff to balance home and work life. We are a friendly and supportive team with strong leadership and direction. Our work is interesting and varied with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills both in the workplace and via our excellent Learning & Development team. The role is predominantly based at Saffron House in High Wycombe and may require some wider travel within the county.
