An exciting opportunity to join us as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant on a fixed term basis in our friendly, high achieving primary school.
Cuddington Croft Primary School is looking to appoint a Part Time 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child. This role is offered on a fixed time basis, working term time only and currently to finish in July 2025.
Your Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about pupil welfare and can make a difference to the learning journey of a child. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the social communication needs and actively assist our Teachers, Inclusion Leader and external professionals such as OT and speech and language therapists, with supporting the child within and outside the classroom.
You will be a valued and resilient member of our support team, training will be provided and you will be supported by a team of experienced and dedicated professionals. However, if you have experience with EHCP / SEN requirements and more specifically working with children who require additional support with communication we would very much like to hear from you!

You will be:
• Able to develop an understanding of the educational, welfare, personal and social needs of the child that you are supporting.
• Able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour.
• Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team, including working closely with parents and outside agencies.
• Able to relate exceptionally well with children and to go that extra mile to help them achieve.
• Experienced in working with young children with SEN requirements
• Experienced in how to observe and assess progression and attainment.
About Cuddington Croft Primary School
Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Cuddington Croft Primary School, our cluster includes the following other schools; The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Danetree Primary School and Floreat Wandsworth Primary School.

Actual Salary: £8,992.15
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:40am – 12:00pm38.6wks/yr (term time plus INSET)
