The starting salary for this position is £32,512 per annum based on a 36 hour working week. This is a fixed term contract/secondment opportunity ending 28th February 2026.
We are excited to be hiring a new Business Support Coordinator to join our fantastic SW Social Care team. The team is based at the St Francis Centre in Guildford. We are open to hybrid working, however we require office working for a minimum of 2 days a week.

About the Role
Children, Families, and Learning provides a range of specialist services to support vulnerable children and young people. These services operate within extensive statutory frameworks, requiring staff to have specialist knowledge to deliver effective support to high-risk and high-need groups.
Our administrative teams play a vital role in ensuring Social Care Practitioners receive high-quality and timely support. As a Business Support Coordinator, you will lead and develop a team of administrators to provide an efficient and high-quality administrative service, helping to improve outcomes for children. Working closely with the Business Team Leader, you will ensure the smooth and effective delivery of support services.
We are looking for a highly organised individual who takes initiative, sets clear priorities, and meets deadlines effectively. You will be proactive in assessing and implementing process improvements to enhance service performance and customer satisfaction.
Shortlisting Criteria

* Experience of guiding more junior staff
* Experience of overseeing team workloads
* High level administrative skills
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build key relationships
* Confident, organised and proactive approach
* Excellent IT skills and proficient in using Microsoft Office
