We are looking for a highly organised and proactive People Administrative Assistant to join a well-established Hull based company. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of office duties, supporting HR and offering general administration support where required. On offer is a salary of between £25,000 and £30,000, on-site parking, career progression and development, a health cash plan and a competitive company pension contribution. As the People Admin Assistant, you will be: Liaising with their external HR provider to be the ‘on the ground’ person for around 50% of the time. Assisting with ‘on the ground’ recruiting activities such note taking in the interview process, coordinating employment offers, and obtaining signed employment contracts etc., Maintaining HR related employee documentation and supporting the recording HR activities for the entire employee lifecycle. This includes, but not limited to, recruitment, hire, onboarding, job changes, time off and leaves, pay increases, performance, and terminations. Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees. Taking notes in relevant management and HR meetings and distributing these. Maintaining employee records and updating relevant HR systems. Obtaining and providing relevant information to inform payroll activities and collaborate with managers and the finance department to assure accurate and timely execution of payroll. Support HR with employee enquiries and administrative tasks. Additional Office Duties will be to assist in Companywide administration support to include: Providing administrative support to Senior Managers and Directors. Calendar management, facilitating meetings. Scheduling and coordinating meetings. Assisting with filing, photocopying, scanning of documents and other general office administration duties as required. Requirements Qualifications: Level 3 CIPD qualification – or willing to work towards this. Experience: Proven experience of office administration from a similar role. HR experience or a genuine interest in pursuing a career within HR. High level of discretion and confidentiality.
