SEND Teacher - Immediate starts

At Protocol Education we are currently looking for an experienced, resilient, and enthusiastic Teacher to work full time at a well established SEND school in the South Leeds area
We require a SEND Teacher at a Good to outstanding setting in the Leeds area. The role would be based in a multi site provision teaching students of varied levels.
About the role:
Our SEND Teachers’ duties can include:
1. Planning and delivering adaptable lessons to a wide range of pupils and abilities.
2. Establishing a safe and stimulating learning environment.
3. Teach useful strategies that will aid the students in their out of school lives.
4. Marking effectively to enable progression with students.
5. Safeguarding of all students and staff.
6. Assessment.
7. 1-to-1 Intervention.
8. Group intervention.
9. Whole schoolwork.
The ideal SEND Teacher will have:
10. QTS/ECT
11. Experience teaching a range of subjects both Primary and Vocational in the UK
SEND Teacher experience:
12. Build Strong relationships.
13. Be able to de-escalate behavioural needs safely and calmly.
14. Experience teaching in mainstream secondary, SEN, pupil referral unit, SEMH schools.
15. Plan deliver and mark a minimum of a good lesson.
16. Be able to commute easily.
17. Excellent behaviour management skills in line with the Academy Behaviour Policy.
18. (ADD, ADHD, ODD, CAMHS, Complex Needs, Behaviour Difficulties, Autism or MLD.)
