Key Responsibilities: As the Registered Childrens Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children in our care. You will lead a dedicated team of staff and manage all aspects of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the highest level of care. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the childrens home. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of care staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations. Monitor and maintain the safety and well-being of all children in care. Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the childrens needs. Liaise with external agencies, including social workers, schools, and families. Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children and staff. Conduct regular team meetings, training, and development sessions for staff. Ensure proper record-keeping and reporting of all incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns. Requirements for the role: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent (or willing to complete within 6 months of starting). Experience in a managerial role within Childrens Residential Care. In-depth knowledge of Ofsted requirements and Childrens Homes Regulations. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse workload. A genuine passion for working with children and young people. Enhanced DBS check.
