Harbour Hotels is looking for a mid-levelcreative designer to join the central head office marketing team, assisting on everythingfrom idea generation, artworking and social asset creation to assisting withshoots, visualising campaigns and helping building the Harbour Hotel brand.
Harbour Hotels is aleading lifestyle hotel brand. Our portfolio spans 14 sensational coastal,country and city locations with a variety of exciting restaurant concepts andour unique HarSPA brand.
Your key roles and responsibilities:
1. Produce high quality, creative design work, in line with the Harbour brand guidelines
2. Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
3. Support Creative Manager with creative design projects
4. Work with our Social Team to design engaging social media assets and content, in particular artwork, ads, video & reels
5. Creating design templates for hotel teams to use
6. Presenting design concepts and mock-ups to stakeholders for review, feedback, and approval
7. Work on hotel design briefs, questioning the brief if something doesn’t seem right from graphic design through to print and production.
8. Help generate ideas for marketing campaigns
9. Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
10. Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout
11. Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video
12. Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
13. Remain at the forefront of all relevant software and keep skills up to date
14. Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications
Skills required:
15. Mid-level creativedesigner with at least two years’ experience in a similar role
16. Experience increative design work for a luxury lifestyle brand preferred
17. Ability to workunder pressure with fast turnarounds, tight deadlines and changing priorities
18. Ability to managemultiple design projects simultaneously
19. Great understandingof Adobe Photoshop, After Effects (or equivalent), InDesign and Premier Pro
