This role takes an office first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office, two days remote, managed around the needs of the business.
What is the role?
As our ethics and integrity Officer, you will be the guardian of our Standards of Behaviour, ensuring London Gatwick's compliance with our corporate legal and ethical responsibilities, including those relating to anti-bribery and corruption, anti-facilitation of tax evasion, fraud, sanctions, AML, competition law, slavery, human trafficking and human rights, and third-party risk.
What will you do?
Develop and implement cutting-edge policies and procedures that align with industry benchmarks and best practices.
Be the go-to expert for questions about ethics and integrity, providing guidance and training to our diverse team of exceptional colleagues.
Conduct thorough audits and assessments to ensure that what we have put in place works well and to identify any opportunities for improvement.
Manage our speak up programme: tackle speak up's received in a respectful, robust manner, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of concerns raised.
Work closely with various departments to foster a culture of compliance and integrity.
Keep abreast of the latest regulatory changes and ensure our practices are always up-to-date and compliant.
Do you have what we're looking for?
Proven experience in a compliance, risk or people management related role. Experience in managing a change programme, developing and enhancing controls and conducting risk-assessments.
Ability to inspire and steer others towards a culture of compliance and integrity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and educate our colleagues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex compliance items
Ability to proactively identify risk, assess, and coordinate cross business expertise to deliver solutions
Ability to work alone, but collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Experience advising commercial organisations in a way that facilitates growth
