Our client is a leading design agency for the publishing industry based in rural Bedfordshire, they are incredibly well respected and are known for producing high quality, excellent design across both print and digital resources. They are now seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team, initially based in the office at least 4 days a week during training with the opportunity for hybrid working in future.
Benefits
1. Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
2. Location: Rural Bedfordshire (car essential unless close enough to cycle)
3. Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year to max. 25 days + bank holidays
4. 37.5 hours a week

About you:
The preferred candidate will ideally have some experience in working with the Adobe Creative Suite and who is keen to work in a busy design and production environment, with an emphasis on excellence and the highest quality.
You might have limited experience in design but showcase a real desire to learn and work for an organisation who are constantly striving for excellence, or this might be an opportunity to move into an agency environment after doing other design work. Our client is prepared to train the right person as long as the desire to learn and deliver exceptional design is there.
You will need to be highly adaptable, able to shift priorities based on client needs and be able to deliver complex design projects to a high level of quality, within deadline.
The Role:
The Graphic Designer will primarily be responsible for using your design-based skills across the Adobe Creative Suite to design and produce publishing content across print and digital. You will be working across anything from cover design, to marketing material, to app design through to whole multi-level series. You will also be responsible for text formatting, page layout and making proof corrections in the production of books and other materials.
This is an extremely varied role and whilst technical design skills are important, so is the ability to be creative, and to showcase new ideas - whilst maintaining quality and the high standards this organisation are known for.
