Our British subsidiary comprises Internal and External Sales, Admin and Marketing teams who work alongside the factories overseas to service the GB market. We are now looking for a Regional Product Specialist to join our Internal Customer Support Team on a permanent, full-time basis. Department External Sales Location Home Office Reports to Managing Director and UK Sales Manager Overall responsibility To maintain and extend a customer database (CRM) of contacts within a defined area of the markets that the company operates within. To visit customers premises and provide customers with information and support relating to products and associated applications. To generate enquiries for and progress quotations made to customers for products and services. To pursue sales growth with customers to agreed targets. To pursue sales growth to agreed targets and ensure the region meets its expectations and full potential. To provide support to customers for training where required. To work with the internal Sales Team and interface with staff of the group. To support the Finance department in managing credit control and customer liaison. To provide support to all levels of management as necessary. Key areas of responsibility External customer support, contact and service for a defined region or customer set. Evaluate customer applications and generate enquiries. To progress quotations and convert them into customer orders. Handle all customer issues promptly. Handle all verbal and written communications with customers, staff and management professionally and courteously. Record all activities as instructed in the company CRM system (Customer Relationship Management) Maintain physical customer records in a logical and tidy manner. Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required. Attend overseas training and meetings as required.
