Job summary We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice, contributing to a positive patient experience. Main duties of the job Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments as necessary. Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient needs and care. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the practice. About us Cantilupe Surgery is a large 12700 patient practice in central Hereford, with its branch Hampton Dene, 2 miles away. We have a large team of reception, admin and clinical staff, who provide medical services to our patients.
