This can either be a hybrid role in Edinburgh, but is open to being remote for the right candidate in another location. This opportunity would suit someone with a at a strong background in professional services sales, such as legal, accountancy and insurance and is looking to move into tech. The business is rapidly expanding, and requires someone to not only drive new business, but start and grow a strong sales team and be a key player in the success of the company. There is opportunity to gain equity in the business for the right candidate. Your key responsibilities will include: Create and action a robust sales strategy to drive revenue. Be aware of new market trends to bring in new sources of revenue Use strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders Confidently lead negotiations on high value agreements. Manage the sales and marketing budget effectively Be involved in the hiring process of a new sales team Provide mentorship and support for the sales team to ensure targets are hit. Manage the sales team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and overachievement. Track and report on sales activities and revenue and present back to board level. To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience: Demonstrate at least 5 years experience in a senior sales role, preferably in professional services. Experience in business planning and developing proposals. Ability to communicate effectively with high level decision makers in a business environment. Experience in coaching and mentoring team members. Knowledge of CRM Knowledge in technology, legal matters and intellectual property management is required. Proven track record in meeting and achieving targets. A proven track record of developing and executing B2B business strategies.
