About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Client Category / Project Manager - Retail to oversee the seamless delivery of our data and category development related services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG, retail data, and category management, with prior experience client-side in an agency environment being essential. This role is critical in ensuring our clients receive accurate, actionable insights while managing internal operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Management: Act as the key point of contact for key clients, ensuring smooth onboarding, data delivery, and ongoing support.
* Retail Data & Category Insights: Oversee the processing and interpretation of retail data, pricing, and category insights, ensuring relevance and accuracy for clients.
* Project Management: Manage workflows, deadlines, and resource allocation to deliver client projects efficiently.
* Data Accuracy & Quality Control: Work closely with internal teams to maintain high data accuracy, aligning with client expectations.
* Reporting & Insights Delivery: Ensure timely and insightful reporting, translating data into actionable recommendations.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams, including data analysts and category managers to optimise service delivery.
* Process Improvement: Continuously refine and improve operational processes to enhance client satisfaction and efficiency.
Key Requirements
✅ FMCG experience is essential – preferably in category management, retail pricing, or retail analytics.
✅ Agency experience working client-side – understanding client needs and delivering data-driven solutions.
✅ Strong understanding of retail data, pricing structures, and category management in FMCG.
✅ Excellent communication and relationship management skills – ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
✅ Proficiency in data tools and reporting software – experience with Excel essential, Power BI, or retail analytics platforms is beneficial.
✅ Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
