A Security Site Supervisor oversees the daily operations of security personnel at a specific location or facility. This role involves managing and coordinating security staff, ensuring that security procedures and policies are followed, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. The supervisor is responsible for supervising security officers, conducting site inspections, addressing security concerns, and handling incidents or emergencies efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned premises to detect any suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
2. Access Control: Enforce access control policies, such as checking identification, issuing visitor passes, and restricting access to authorized personnel only.
3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents, including medical emergencies, fire hazards, or criminal activity.
4. Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, breaches of security, or safety concerns in clear, accurate, and detailed reports.
5. Patrolling: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to ensure that all areas are secure.
6. Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors or employees, providing directions and answering inquiries.
7. Safety Inspections: Inspect the premises for safety hazards, fire risks, or any conditions that could compromise safety.
8. Conflict Resolution: Handle minor disputes or disturbances, using conflict resolution skills to maintain a calm environment.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with other security staff, law enforcement, or emergency responders to coordinate security efforts.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent observational skills and ability to respond calmly in stressful situations.
2. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
3. Commitment to safety and ethical conduct.
4. Familiarity with security systems, radios, and alarm systems.
5. Law enforcement or military experience preferred.
6. 1+ years of security experience required.
7. 2+ years of customer service experience required.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma, GED, equivalent or above.
2. Must be 18 years or older.
3. Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
4. Access to reliable transportation and communication.
Compensation and Benefits:
Security Site Supervisor $19.50 per hour. Paid training, Medical, Vision, Employee Discounts.
