Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per day Job Duties: The English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions to Key Stage 3 students in both English and Maths subjects. This includes developing tailored lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Required Qualifications: - A relevant degree in Education or a related field - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Enhanced DBS check Education: A degree in Education or a related field Experience: Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the Key Stage 3 level Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to engage and motivate students Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate qualification in Education - Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, focusing on providing outreach tutoring services in English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students in the East of England, specifically in Chelmsford, Essex. The tutor will need to travel to various locations to deliver sessions and may require flexibility in scheduling.
