Contract Manager
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience plus company car or car allowance, annual performance bonus
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing:
Managing the client's waste which reflects efficient cost management, effective customer relations, current legislation, health and safety together with the provision of advice and innovative solutions.
Leading and developing the team to reach their full potential.
Operating, reporting and monitoring the budget within the agreed financial parameters.
Developing existing and new business, and the provision of service solutions.
Optimising disposal and income opportunities associated with the waste commodities.
Developing comprehensive duty of care audit schedule covering both internal and external disposal sites and the completion of summary reports.
Developing, maintaining and improving relations with customers to ensure that Veolia's reputation and achievements are represented to maximum effect.
Writing procedures and risk assessments.
Maintenance of Business Continuity Plan.
Monthly reporting of business safety requirements, area inspections, behavioural safety, etc.
Customer reports to be issued as required within set SLA's.
Evaluation of COSHH Assessments and of new waste streams and finding disposal/recycling routes.
Attending Customer Monthly review meetings
What we're looking for:
Previous experience managing an operational team.
IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health).
A safety qualification is considered to be essential.
Working knowledge of the waste industry.
Operational experience of working within a customer focused environment.
Numeracy, analytical and IT skills essential.
Organisational, planning and communication skills.
NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) would be advantageous.
