Are you a skilled editor with a passion for sports? Do you have a hyper accurate eye for detail and a strong instinct for what engages an audience? DAZN may be the place for you!
As Senior Platform Editor at DAZN, you will work under the Chief Editors, publishing content, organising the app across multiple territories and ensuring a flawless content experience. You will require a strong knowledge of a variety of sports, particularly US sports.
You will be responsible for editorial maintenance of the app on both the front and backend; therefore, accuracy is key. It is crucial that you can pick the right line and image to tell the story, and that you are able to prioritise content by what will appeal to a user most.
We are looking for someone highly organised, who is comfortable planning, reviewing, and presenting to internal stakeholders, as well as building relationships with our partners.
This role is based in our Leeds office but offers hybrid working. Shifts will work across a 7-day rota, with some evening work required, aligning with the big sporting events.

As our new Senior Platform Editor you'll have the opportunity to:

* Take ownership of specific sections/major rights and report directly to Chief Editors
You'll have:
* Experience picking out errors in spelling and grammar.
* Ability to watch an interview and pick out the killer headline every time. You know what lines sports fans will click on.
* Experience in presenting to stakeholders and collaborating with internal and external teams.
* Extremely strong attention to detail and be highly organised.
* The ability to plan for big events and review after.
* Experience working in the fast-paced environment of sport.
* A knowledge of the OTT/sports broadcasting landscape.
* A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
