Network Planning Manager
The Network Planning Manager role is within the Network Development department and supports the short to long-term strategy development of the BMW Group UK Retailer Network. The role involves ongoing network planning for the Sales and Aftersales Retailer businesses of BMW Group UK, combining retailer performance and financial analysis with geo-demographic profiling to provide insights and support recommendations on future business structure and location changes.
What awaits you?
* Network planning for volume, type, and location of retailers and owners, including strategy, analysis, and research related to location and Retailer AOI (area of influence) change management.
* Primary user of the network analysis tool and key contact for the tool’s supplier, collaborating closely with BMW and MINI Sales General Managers, Area Managers, and Analysis teams.
* Management of performance data consolidation, KPI dashboard development, and maintenance, focusing on simplification and automation of data reporting.
* Management of the BMW and MINI Retailer of the Year award schemes, including scheme definition, performance compilation, and collaboration with the Events team.
* Leadership of periodic strategic reviews of owner and outlet performance to guide future network decisions, including a 5-year network study for contract renewal preparation.
* Coordination of activities related to retailer ownership changes, closures, and openings to minimize operational impact.
* Evaluation and implementation of new technologies supporting network planning and review processes.
What should you bring along?
* Graduate qualification, ideally with professional accountancy, statistical, or analytical certification.
* Proven experience in a retailer environment or manufacturer role facing retailers.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in data analysis, planning, and forecasting.
* Expertise in data management and manipulation.
* Knowledge of current BMW and MINI retailer systems is advantageous.
