Time Appointments are delighted to be working on behalf of a highly professional and thriving business based in Chelmsford, who are currently recruiting for a passionate and commercially aware HR Advisor to support their busy HR function. Applicants must have generalist HR experience to be considered for this exciting opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional, effective and employee focused HR expertise across the business to support the delivery of the company’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Provide advice and guidance to all employees on a full range of HR processes and topics.
2. Manage employee relations casework such as absence management, discipline, grievance always with sensitivity and fairness.
3. Support managers with recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention.
4. Promote, coordinate, and occasionally deliver a wide range of learning and development activity.
5. Data reporting and analysis.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:
1. Demonstrable HR Advisory experience gained from a professional environment.
2. Thorough understanding of current UK employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to overcome objections and handle negotiations.
4. Exceptional levels of accuracy and attention to detail whilst working in a busy environment.
5. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise daily projects.
6. CIPD qualified / part-qualified (desirable).
