Job Title: English Language Support Tutor
Location: ON-SITE, Manchester, UK
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 (Depending on work experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, (Monday to Friday), to be able to work 1pm to 9pm once a week. Every other week will need to work one of the weekends.

Purpose of the role:
As English Language Support Tutor, you will be part of a team of Study Support Advisors. You will provide English language support to students whose first language is not English. This role is particularly suited to someone who has experience of teaching English as a second language and is enthusiastic about helping students meet their academic demands.
Main duties and responsibilities:
This list is not exhaustive and may adapt over time depending on the needs of the organisation.
1. Deliver teaching in a variety of learning settings, including seminars, small group tutorials, and lectures, using appropriate and engaging teaching styles.
2. Create English language resources to be shared with students, including materials tailored to help with their particular courses.
3. Provision of regular consultation hours for students needing help with writing and presentation skills.
4. Deliver support to students to enhance their learning including through 1:1 English support appointments.
5. Offer appropriate advice, feedback, and encouragement to students to ensure a high-quality student experience.
6. Design and deliver language support workshops.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
1. TESOL/CELTA or other English teaching qualification.
2. Experience in teaching English language with relevant delivery, assessment, and student support.
3. Demonstrable organisational and personal management skills.
4. Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills.
