Robert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a thriving business in Swindon to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity that will be responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable process for the business. This is a great opportunity for someone that is AAT qualified or qualified by experience that is keen to add value and oversee the transactional accounting processes across the business. The salary is between £25,000 - £28,000 plus bonus, hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main responsibilities of the Finance Assistant role will consist of:
1. Accounts payable; processing invoices, matching purchase orders, preparing payment runs, reconciling statements and dealing with queries.
2. Accounts receivable; sending and raising invoices, allocating and processing payments, liaising with stakeholders.
3. Assisting with maintaining general ledger.
4. Verifying bank details.
5. Processing expense claims.
Requirements
To be considered for the Finance Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/attributes:
6. Must have experience within accounts payable or accounts receivable.
7. AAT qualified or qualified by experience
