Leading a Technical Site Engineering team responsible for the capacity and availability of the VMO2 network which serves its customers. This includes, but is not limited to, the restoration of broadband, broadcast, core, business, wholesale, and mobile services, with an emphasis on their maintenance and continuous improvement. The role will oversee a customer-centric, 24/7 local team with responsibilities for people, processes, systems, and tools, ensuring the appropriate governance and metrics are in place to support our financial and business objectives. As we undergo a period of transformation, this role will play a key part in delivering our new XGS-PON and CIN networks. The successful candidate will serve as a change ambassador both within the immediate team and across the business, fostering empowerment, and encouraging a culture of colleague engagement, customer centricity, and continuous service improvement.

The must haves
* Strong leadership skills/experience with a background in a service provider environment
* Experience of Operational/Department management
* Proven experience of managing colleagues through periods of change
* Data analysis capability to identify strengths, opportunities and trends
* Track record of improvements in a customer centric team
The other stuff we are looking for
* Ideally Degree educated, or equivalent in Engineering, Science or Business 6 Sigma or Agile also considered with the right experience
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills with demonstrable experience of stakeholder management and influencing colleagues, business, or customers
