As a caring and positive person, you will need to be able to work as part of an established team and have the ability to work flexibly.
Main duties of the job:
1. Competent in venepuncture, cannulation, and central line care.
2. Competent in performing ECGs.
3. Be able to prioritize workload.
4. Be a good team player.
5. Assist in meeting the comfort and hygiene needs of patients.
6. Assist with taking and recording patients' observations.
7. Report to registered staff all concerns about patients' conditions.
8. Use initiative in planning daily and weekly routines.
9. Promote a professional, welcoming, and uncluttered environment, keeping all areas safe, clean, and tidy.
10. Assist in unpacking, checking, and storing supplies delivered to the area, reporting when stocks are low.
11. Prepare beds, trolleys, and equipment.
