While detailed technical knowledge is not essential, a strong understanding of the automotive or motorsport industry is required, as is a very high level of organisation skills. Experience in running a workshop department or engineering team is preferable.
Additionally, you will oversee the Parts department, ensuring that stock levels, pricing, and availability meet the needs of the workshop and our other business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure absolute compliance with all our health and safety regulations and conduct necessary frequent reviews.
* Uphold and seek continual improvement of our working policies and processes.
* Lead the workshop team to consistently deliver high-quality car maintenance and preparation work.
* Ensure all work is completed within agreed timelines, particularly for events and track commitments.
* Manage all workshop functions, including planning and scheduling for track events across the UK and EU.
* Report monthly on key performance indicators (KPIs), including workshop efficiency and revenue projections.
* Oversee the management of the Parts Department, including stock levels, pricing, and availability.
* Manage sub-contract technicians and additional support services when required.
* Maintain high standards of work, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the workshop.
* Conduct interviews, training, and performance reviews for technical and workshop staff.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong leadership abilities who is willing to go the extra mile to achieve business’s goals. You will have experience in managing an automotive team and department, and a proven ability to deliver on time and to a high standard. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, and you should be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
If you’re ready for an exciting new challenge in 2025 and meet the above criteria, we’d love to hear from you! Please contact us with your CV and cover letter.
