Job Profile The role is in the Orpington Locality which deals with a broad range of Adult Social Care referrals. All care management and safeguarding tasks are undertaken as per the statutory duties for a local authority underpinned by the Adult Social Care legislation. Adult Social Care is on a transformation journey, and we are seeking talented and experienced people to join us to support the changes that are taking place and lead the team forward. The role will be based at Churchill Court our new office at Bromley South in the heart of the vibrant Bromley High Street. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday. We are looking for a suitably qualified, professionally registered person, experienced in supervising and managing staff. You need experience of performance management and the ability and experience of supporting staff through complex and challenging casework. You must have the ability and experience to maintain healthy relationships with partner agencies, particularly health, voluntary sector, and commissioned services. The ideal candidate should be conversant with different IT systems and know how to record information contemporaneously on social care systems. You will possess excellent communication, analytical and written skills and be a problem solver, as well as be effective at prioritising, meeting performance targets and managing systems. As part of a supportive management team, you will work to the requirements of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act along with best practice, regular supervision, training, career development and the Council’s Appraisal model.
