Our client, a global leader in manufacturing, is on the hunt for Technical Manufacturing Operators to join their world-class production team. Your Role - Technical Production Operator
As a Technical Operator / Production Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the production line runs smoothly and efficiently. Your main responsibilities include:
* Maintain, operate, and improve manufacturing processes
* Carrying out machine changeovers and tooling adjustments
* Driving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and production performance
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
* Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
* Operating Machinery that processes, converts, and makes materials
* Running automated or semi-automated machines
* Adjusting machine settings to maintain product quality
* Monitoring performance to ensure smooth operation
* Diagnosing and fixing minor mechanical or technical faults
* Reporting more complex issues to the engineering team
* Line Changeovers & Setups
* Switching production lines for different products
* Adjusting tooling and settings to match specifications
* Ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
Role Requirements & Skills - Technical Production Operator
* Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment (Manufacturing, automotive, chemicals, or similar)
* Strong mechanical aptitude – hands-on with machines and equipment
* A problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in engineering/mechanics is a plus
* Mechanically minded individuals who enjoy hands-on work.
